I didn't want to do any weight training because when you lift weights your body puts all it's energy into lifting that weight. Being that I want my body to still be fighting the tail end of this sick-bug I decided to just go with cardio. Don't worry, I won't start chanting again, but I did feel hell of a lot better after I got some blood pumpin. Pumpin...no weights...ironic...no? Let it sink in...annnnd there you get it now, good we are on the same page. Maybe I'm still high on life from that elliptical workout, I only did 20 minutes too! Imagine what an hour could do...hmmmm....no I won't.
I did 20 minutes on the elliptical and 10 minutes on the treadmill making up my 30 minutes for cardio, which helps cause now I won't be too behind in the LiveFit Program. Instead of having the 2 rest days over the weekend I will probably use those days to do the days I missed this week due to being 'cough cough' sick 'cough'. Ha Wow, a situation where I'm actually NOT trying to cover what I'm saying by coughing on either side of the words, I actually meant it! Am I even making sense? I hope. Being that I'm half crazy right now we will see how I feel, I do want to get better and all and not over-do things too quickly.
Amazing what 30 minutes of cardio can do to your hair.
Bring a towel to the gym!
I used to ignore all those, "bring a towel to your work-out's," signs but now I love bringing one because it's a great way to save your place in the weight lifting area. That way people don't take over your bench or start messin with your weights. When your on a cardio machine it's pretty obvious that machine is 'in use' but when in the weight lifting area it's common courtesy to look for whether or not someone's towel is on a machine/bench.
Ya ya ya I have Miss/Mr/Ms? Spears on my iPizzle...
I always wonder about people when I see their headphones in, what are they listening too? Sometimes I just wanna scream, (I said scream, not chant) "There is a rave going on in my head right now!" Today is probably one of those days that if I told you I did, you'd believe me.
Codes, a great DJ for dancin, chillin, cleanin, gymin, pre-gamin, basically anything that you can end with 'in' he's good for. Highly recommend checkin (there's that 'in' again, ahh and there..think it's time for me to make dinner) his beats out. He's signed with the team at Slow Roast Records, real good value stuff.
C YA!
Your daily dose of jessness has been served.
