Jamie Eason LiveFit Trainer Phase One Recap

Phase One is Over-- time to party!

Honestly after this week I think I need to take some much needed chill time. I'm over exhausted, dehydrated, and to be honest haven't had the cleanest eating this past week. Between all the work functions w/endless amounts of canapes, wine, beer, fancy mixed-drinks, and mindless munching I can sure say I'm feeling it now.

On a happier note though, although last week was a big one, I can say I completed Phase One in Jamie Eason's LiveFit trainer!

I'm anxious to start Phase Two and get back into doing some cardio. I'm feeling thick and I think incorporating cardio now is coming at the perfect time.

A blurb referring to cardio from Jamie about Phase Two: "Forgoing the cardio in the first phase allowed your body to use all of the "clean" calories it consumed for everyday activities and building muscle. By introducing medium-intensity cardio in Phase Two, we'll begin to facilitate fat burning, while minimizing the risk of losing any hard-earned muscle."

You know what's coming...yep a big fat, "HOLLER" to that.

Here are my thoughts on Phase One now having completed it:

Pro's:
  • Short workouts (40-45 min long)- Good to fit into busy schedule
  • Easy to follow planned guidelines for both food & workouts- I love that I could grab my pdf printed workout and just bounce to the gym
  • Inspired me to try new recipes
  • Built muscle- I notice my gains mainly in back, legs, and biceps

Con's:
  • Feeling anxious for results- lots of eating, lots of weight lifting
  • Not enough sweating at the gym- I wanna leave and feel I released a beast "Let's get down to Business...to defeat, the huns" -song in Mulan...oh come on you've seen it.

Challenges:
  • Being patient and trusting in the program
  • Getting used to planning meals and having groceries to fit w/food requirements
  • Trying not to compare your experience/results to others in program- OK, so this is totally natural but we need to remember this program was designed as a "one size fits all" kind of thing, so the challenge is to tweak areas of the trainer to fit your body & lifestyle needs, while having confidence you know what's best for you
