Just like in school, there are all different levels students are at academically, and each need to go at their own pace in order to understand what they are learning.
Well, this concept doesn't just stop when students are finished with school. As students turn into adults, they are still at all different intelligence levels. Which brings me to my point, I understand sometimes it's important to air on the side of caution, but do we really need signs for everything...
Signs for things we shouldn't need a sign for:
What! Who the hell would press the "down" button and wait for the elevator to come and pick you up with a blazing fire right behind them.
Elevators are fun, especially when it talks to you. When my work elevator goes down it says out loud, "Going down." Sometimes on Friday's I like to say back to it, "You better believe it..." reagrdless of whether or not their are people in it with me at the time. Those hungover Fridays are rough!
I live in a farming area and sometimes I see signs like this:
Don't you think I would SEE a giant big-ass tracker like that? I mean it's BIGGER than my car.
I personally enjoy this one:
Its good to be persistent, but come on people, DUH! And where was this sign when I was trying to dump my last boyfriend.
